Colin had fun in the snow on Sunday except when he wiped his face with his snowy glove and then he screamed. He also decided he is afraid of sledding. Hilarious. We got Tate all bundled up for about 30 seconds so we could get picture.
I came across this picture taken a year and a half ago and I love it. Colin is kissing Ally Holmes. Ally was the first friend Colin met since they were born in the same hospital on pretty much the same night. They grow so fast!!
We invaded my parents house and all the grandkids (except Matty J) were there. It was very loud but very fun. Colin would not cooperate and get in the pic of all the kids so, as usual, there is only one picture with all the kids.
We ventured to Baby Loves Disco yesterday. It was kind of hellish at first because it was so packed but once it cleared out a bit, there were good times had. Colin had fun but was a little shy to dance even when The Godfather of Soul came on. Tate loved being a slice of Pizza and watching Colin pop the bubbles. I was a dork and dressed up as a witch and my hat was so annoying. Luka and Joey brought their moms along and I think they had fun too.
We headed out to Stocker's Farm in Snohomish and picked out some good pumpkins. Colin had a good time rolling around in their wagons and wheel barrels and Tate liked to watch him. We also bought some delicious farm fresh produce and a Pin the Nose on the Pumpkin game which I cannot WAIT to play.
Tate got to hang out with his cousin Will today. Will is a doll. I could not stop laughing at their very different legs. One has bird legs the other has sausage legs. Hilarious!
The whole fam took a trip east of the mountains to visit Great Grandma in Moses Lake. The weather was gorgeous. Colin and Tate loved hanging out with Great Grandma and Daddy was happy because he got to eat Chico's Pizza.
Our friend Katie sent me these shirts right before Tate was born. We took them to have their pics taken but I couldn't resist getting a few shots on my own. The big bro and the little bro.
The founding fathers of the West Seattle Beer Dash were recently immortalized in the new and improved lady liberty pavilion on Alki thanks to hall of fame dashers Aubrey and Chason. The boys celebrated by cracking a Rainier and reciting the first beer dash speech while the next generation looked on. Dreams do come true. www.beerdash.com
Ike, Pee Wee, Bald Eagle and Scooby Doo were added to the Jones Family about a month ago. It is Colin's job to feed them everyday. That kid's gotta think- you gotta pet, you gotta responsibility.
We had a great day at the fair. Colin rode the kiddie rides and had a ball. We were expecting tears and fears but he loved them. The helicopters and the big slide were his favorites.
